A number of people declared Partai Rakyat Adil Makmur (PRIMA). PRIMA offers solutions related to the problem of social inequality.
The declaration was held at the Usmar Ismail Film Center, Tuesday (1/6/2021). Agus Jabo Priyono, who was asked to be the general chairman, emphasized that everyone can make changes.
“You can and once again you can!” said Agus.
“PRIMA, the party of ordinary people, was born in the midst of the violent vortex of the nation’s life, both because of the pandemic, economic problems that are increasingly far from the principles of humanity and justice, the acute polarization of national life and the loss of big ideas to build a just, safe life. and peace,” continued Agus.
Agus explained that PRIMA offers a number of solutions to overcome inequality problems, as follows:
1. PRIMA will fight for tax reform in Indonesia to make it more equitable.
2. Utilizing the resources we have used for the greatest prosperity of the people, with an independent national industry; develop modern agriculture, promote MSMEs and cooperatives as the pillars of the nation’s economy, by making the entire Indonesian nation, regardless of ethnicity, whatever religion, live in justice, prosperity, unity, inner and outer peace.
3. Making Indonesia a developed country, strong and independent, both economically, politically and socio-culturally, with a participatory democratic system, clean government, with superior human resources, equal and no longer a follower for other countries,
4. With prosperity and independence, Indonesia will become a country that is actively involved in maintaining world peace.
Agus said the key to all of this was the spirit of gotong royong. He believed in the importance of the value of struggle.
“By relying on our own strength, with the spirit of gotong royong, we can definitely. We are not like a hill that misses the moon but we believe: those who fight, will definitely win,” said Agus.
Agus himself was an activist while studying at Sebelas Maret State University, UNS, Surakarta. He was involved in the student movement against the New Order regime. In 1996, Agus was involved in the founding of the People’s Democratic Party (PRD), the party against the New Order dictatorship at the time.
