Adidas has announced it is investigating allegations of inappropriate behavior by rapper Kanye West, with whom the company recently ended its partnership.
The German sportswear company launched an investigation after reviewing an anonymous letter detailing West’s inappropriate behavior.
Adidas said – in a statement: “It is not yet clear whether the allegations made in the anonymous letter are true or not.”
The company added that it takes these allegations seriously, noting that it has decided to launch an independent investigation into the matter immediately.
The announcement came after the American magazine ‘Rolling Stone’ detailed allegations of inappropriate behavior by the rapper – who officially changed his name to Ye -.
Among the allegations is that Yee showed a nude photo of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian to Yeezy employees and senior officials. The company “turned a blind eye” to Ye’s behavior.
