Adicomdays 2022: African digital creativity celebrated in Abidjan (Press release)

Abidjan- More than 600 young digital creators and protagonists of digital communication celebrated, on Saturday 12 November 2022, at the French Institute of Abidjan, the sixth edition of African digital creativity called “Adicomdays 2022”.

Around the theme “Engagement on social networks”, experts and content creators shared their experiences with the participants present and all those who followed the event via webinar, indicates a press release from the organizers sent on Friday 18 November to the AIP.

With Nigeria as host country, this year the ceremony opened to Anglophone Africa.

“The most important thing is consistency. I remain convinced that if you are consistent in what you do, your work will eventually get noticed», urged Sydney Talker, a Nigerian internet celebrity, followed by four million followers on her Instagram account.

“This 6th edition of Adicomdays has brought the community together on the theme of engagement which, for content creators, as for brands, is more important than the number of followers. In fact, the content creator community has a responsibility to positively impact the community and society. By inviting Nigeria, it was also about learning and sharing best practices,” said Kahi Lumumba, co-founder of Adicomdays.

This great African digital Mass ended with the delivery of the five winners’ trophies. They are Paul Yves Ettien (Ivory Coast), Style Connaisseur (Nigeria), Crazy Sally (Cameroon), Super Ony (Ivory Coast) and Ulrich Takam (Cameroon).

More than a contest and conference, Adicomdays allow young people to network and collaborate on new projects, both impacting their communities and inspiring future content creators.
