The first NBA defensive team includes Adetokunbo, Anthony Davis (Lakers of Los Angeles), Rudy Gober (Jazz of Utah), Ben Simons (76ers of Philadelphia) and Marcus Smart (Celtics of Boston).
Meanwhile, the second defensive team includes Kavai Lenard, Patrick Beverley (both Los Angeles Clippers), Bams Adebayo (Miami Heat) and two Bucks, Eric Bledso and Brook Lopez.
Davis has already been selected four times in the defense team, twice of which has been included in the first line-up. Adetokunbo, who was recently named the best defensive player in the league, also made it to the national team for the fourth time.
Gober, on the other hand, was included in the first defense team for the fourth year in a row, but for Smartt this was the second year that Simons had received such an honor for the first time.
Lenard has previously played in defense teams five times, and Beverley twice. Bledso entered the top five for the second time, but Lopez and Adebajo were the first.
Kristaps Porziņģis was also among the league attack type players voted for by the media, but he scored only one point.
The media chose the defense national team by judging the performance of basketball players in the period before the NBA season ended.
