Adepa once again questioned Javier Milei for his treatment with the press

Recently the Association of Argentine Journalistic Entities (ADEPA) shared a statement in which it repudiated the president’s statements. Javier Milei against the press during the political launch of La Libertad Avanza (LLA) at the national level in Parque Lezama.

In the document they expressed: “During the past weekend, President Javier Milei made offensive mentions to the press in general, and in particular he pointed out directors and journalists of the newspaper La Nación. In this regard, the Association of Argentine Journalistic Entities (ADEPA) reiterates what was stated in its statement of April 9, under the title ‘a free and vibrant debate does not need disqualification’”.

Along these lines, they added: “ADEPA understands that within the democratic debate, dissent can be intense and firm, but It is expected that they will be settled with arguments instead of disqualifications and personal attackswhich contribute to straining the climate of social debate.”

Milei disapproved of the visit to repressors and doubts Villarruel: “I don’t know if it had anything to do with it”

At the same time, they pointed out: “On the other hand, classifying professional journalists as instruments of third parties, without their own criteria or determination, is another way of trying to discredit the work they do by delegation of their audiences.”

For his part, the statements that unleashed the ADEPA statement were in which Milei stated: “I want you to know of my eternal gratitude to each of these militants, there is no troll here, they are all flesh and blood, piece of sores”.

Along these lines, he remarked: “corrupt, overstuffed journalists, these are the trolls, who show you the reality that you never let on because you have a monopoly on the microphones.”
