The man with the initials R alias Aden (30) who is suspected of killing a Sukabumi woman, Eneng Kulsum (35), had fled before being caught by the police. During his escape, Aden disguised himself by wearing a wig to a cap.
Reported detikJabar, Tuesday (17/5/2022), the man who was said to be the victim’s ex-lover wore a blue cap and loose long wig. The perpetrator fled to the Parungkuda area.
“After stabbing the victim, the suspect fled immediately. He used a wig and a skullcap or cap to disguise himself during the escape. The perpetrator fled to the Parungkuda area and spent the night in the Cibenda Karang Tengah area,” said Sukabumi Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head, AKP I Putu Hasti Hermawan.
The whereabouts of the perpetrators were tracked after a joint team from the Sukabumi Police Criminal Investigation Unit and the Cibadak Police Criminal Investigation Unit obtained information from a witness.
“We received information on the whereabouts of the perpetrator in a hut. The team immediately gave chase and managed to catch the perpetrator. At that time his position was heading to the top of Mount Walat (Sukabumi Regency),” said Putu.
Just to note, the murder case shocked the residents of Cibadak, Sukabumi Regency. A woman was stabbed to death by a man in front of her house, Friday (14/5) night, at 20.00 WIB. The victim’s name is Eneng Kulsum.
