Although fans hoped that her presentation job would be the prelude to her new album, Adele already announced on Saturday that the record is not finished yet. The new music will not be released this year anyway, it seems. “I’m going back into my cave to be the cat lady I always was. See you next year!’ said the singer.
She’s a single cat lady by the way, she emphasizes. Today came the news that Adele, who last year divorced Simon Konecki, is dating British rapper Skepta (38). It would be “heated”, according to a source opposite People. So that story would be nonsense.
The news is undoubtedly a setback for the fans, to whom she previously promised that the successor to 25 from 2015 was supposed to be released last month. Last summer, however, her manager already announced that this would not happen, as the singer is still working on the album. Asked when the new music will be released, Adele said last month: “To be honest, I have no idea.”
