Adela gave him his favorite celebrity, Meryl Streepa hug on Friday, November 1 during his residency in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In a published video via X The “Hi There” singer was performing at her Weekends with Adele show at Caesars Palace when she spotted the iconic actress in the audience. Adele, coincidentally, was dressed as Streep’s character, Madeline Ashton, from the 1992 film Dying Turns into Her.
In the video, Adele bows to the Oscar-winning actress before shouting: “What a f**king honor, I love you!” The two hugged and Streep, 75, blew Adele a kiss and applauded before the musician continued his performance.
This is not the first time that a major celebrity has appeared at the singer’s long-term residence. Superstar Celine Dion appeared on her present on Saturday, October 26, making Adele cry.
Dion, 56, and Adele hugged each other as the crowd cheered. Dion held Adele’s face in her hands and then kissed her hand in the emotional moment. The “My Coronary heart Will Go On” singer attended the show with her two sons, Nelson and Eddy, both 14 years old.

Dion then posted about her experience via Instagram, congratulating Adele on her performance.

“Adele, we are so grateful to you for welcoming me and my family to the Colosseum for your incredible show!” Dion wrote in her Nov. 1 post. “Your performance was spectacular, your production was so beautiful. We loved seeing you and hearing you sing… it was a very emotional night for all of us.”
The Coliseum, where Adele has her residence, was coincidentally built for Dion’s Las Vegas residency in 2003.
Adele recently made headlines after sharing an update on her recovery after suffering an ear infection. The Grammy winner opened up about the painful experience during her Oct. 25 concert.

“I actually have an ear infection, which is pretty serious. “I’ve never had an ear infection before,” he said, according to a fan video on social media. “It is the most painful thing that has happened to me in my life. “It was worse than giving birth.”
He explained that while on tour in Munich over the summer, he contracted a “rare micro organism in the water.”
