Ade Irfan Pulungan dismissed reports that he was stepping down as the main expert at the Presidential Staff Office (KSP). Ade said he only applied for leave because he was running as a legislative candidate.
News about his resignation Ade Irfan and a number of experts KSP It circulated on Wednesday (24/1/2024) yesterday. There are eight KSP experts who are said to have resigned. Ade Irfan and Ali Mochtar Ngabalin are the two people on the list.
Hearing this news, Ade then expressed his denial. Ade said he and the seven other names had never submitted their resignations.
“Orally and in writing, my friends and I have never submitted our resignations, either verbally or in writing,” said Ade Irfan to journalists, Thursday (25/1/2024).
Ade Irfan said that the status of himself and other experts at KSP was on leave. He admitted that he had reported this to President Jokowi and the Head of KSP Moeldoko.
“Regarding our presence in the KSP, who are currently legislative candidates, we have coordinated with Mr. Moeldoko as chief of staff. I also met with Mr. President Jokowi on Tuesday, November 28 2023, conveying this, he said that he did not have to be dismissed but just take leave, because “Indeed, nothing has been violated in the regulations,” he said.
Ade Irfan said that the statement that 8 KSP experts had resigned was a one-sided claim. He ensured that he would continue to refer to the president’s directions.
“So I am sticking to the president’s instructions that were given to me, namely taking leave, Bang Ali Mochtar Ngabalin too, taking leave so that I can concentrate on being a legislative candidate,” he continued.
“So the statement is a one-sided statement, without any confirmation from us,” he continued.
