The journalist, Ihab Saleh, criticized the director of the singer Sherine Abdel Wahab’s work, sarcastically imitating her in the “Studio 23” program, which is shown on the “mbc 1” channel, and the “Watch” platform.
The episode of the program witnessed the artist, Rima Abdullah, imitating the personality of the singer Sherine Abdel Wahab, with the modification of the lyrics of her famous song “Jarh Tani”, and presenting it under the title “Darb Tani, My Heart Is Still Good from the First Ones”.
Ihab Saleh, Sherine’s business manager, on his Twitter page, responded to the video circulated by the pioneers of social networking sites, and wrote: “Who will say this is a personal opinion: It is very shameful for a respectable channel like MBC to see something like this on a great and great artist like Sherine, This is bullying and lack of manners.”
And Ihab Saleh continued: “As for her business manager, we will certainly take the necessary action along!”
The Cairo Economic Court recently issued a ruling obliging the singer, Sherine Abdel Wahab, to pay 5 million pounds in her personal capacity, in addition to another 5 million pounds in solidarity with the La Mere for artistic productions holding company, in favor of the Rotana Audio and Video Company, due to her non-compliance with the terms of the contract signed in 2019.
Singer Sherine Abdel Wahab released, during the current month of Ramadan, a song entitled “You Are the Home”, as part of the advertising campaign for an iron and steel company. It was written by Amir Tuaima, composed and arranged by Ahmed Ibrahim.
Those who will say this is a personal opinion: It is very shameful for such a respectable channel @mbc1 If something like this happens to a great and great artist like Sherine, and this is bullying and lack of manners, as for her manager, we will definitely take the necessary action!
