Consequently, Ukrainian pensioners will receive from 300 to 570 hryvnias in compensation payments from the state. However, this applies only to those whose pension does not reach UAH 10,340.
Compensation payments for pensioners
First Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Daria Marchak said that this year the majority will receive compensation payments. But on the condition that the pensions they receive are less than UAH 10,340,000.

- Pensioners aged 70-75 can count on payment of up to 300 hryvnia;
- Age 75 – 80 years – up to 456 hryvnia;
- Over 80 years old – up to 570 hryvnia.
We remind you that from March 1, almost all categories of pensioners indexed pension payments. Participants in hostilities will not receive an increase in a person with a disability as a result of the war, because their payments are tied to the subsistence level.
Indexing was received even by those who were not promised
In 2023, the pensions of those citizens who receive the smallest payments were indexed. It is interesting that before they were not subject to such an increase. This is because their pensions are:
- was tied to the living wage,
- therefore, it was previously revised only with an increase in the subsistence minimum.
