For this reason, the board of directors and the ENT Medical Staff Group (KSM) at Sanglah Hospital planted rare trees, namely red, white and black cempaka trees in the Cadu Sakti Temple area of Sanglah Hospital.

According to the Managing Director (Director) of Sanglah Hospital, Denpasar, Dr. I Wayan Sudana MKes, the three types of rare plants were chosen because the tree is one of the facilities commonly used in carrying out prayers or worship.

“There are three cempaka trees planted this time, namely red, white and black. Where the three cempakas can be said to be plants that are starting to be difficult to find in the community, even black and red cempakas are getting rare,” said the President Director of Sudana.

Furthermore, he said, the planting of cempaka trees is not only to beautify the Cadu Sakti Temple area, but also has a positive impact on staff and medical personnel when performing prayers. In addition, the flowers produced can be used to perform prayers, both for medical personnel and patient caretakers at Sanglah Hospital.

Meanwhile, the tree planting was initiated by the ENT Medical Staff Group (KSM) of Sanglah Hospital as an effort to improve the balance of nature and the beauty of the environment in line with the existing program at Sanglah Hospital.

“Planting trees is also in line with the national program, namely Green Hospital, one of which is by doing reforestation and structuring as well as adding green spaces in hospitals,” said Sudana.

Sudana also admitted that tree planting was routinely carried out by each resident in Sanglah Hospital. This is also often contested when commemorating the anniversary of Sanglah Hospital.
