The Citizen Association for the fight against drugs, that civic miracle that continues to work for the people of A Coruña, organizes together with the City Council a new edition of its workshops on the use of new technologies. They begin this month of April in nine civic centers of the city and will last until June. They are aimed at fathers, mothers and children, although parents and children will attend class separately. The ages of the girls and boys to whom they are addressed are, attention, between 11 and 18 years old. ACLAD, an association that works with a well-known seriousness, deals with this issue because it considers that we are facing a new addiction and launches the alerts. Advises to educate, not to prohibit in family. Yes, the law prohibits the use of mobile phones in schools and stresses that families should be aware of this problem. Of that, “it’s time”, and a “… wait that won’t let me finish yet.” From “one more game”. From WhatsApp groups, conversations screenshots, group harassment, the publication of our children’s lives without filters and even in the smallest details. The photos that may not be liked in a few years or two minutes. We are facing a new reality that is fine, as long as we teach those who come to use it according to their needs and to maintain control for their own benefit and their environment. The workshops will be given, as said, in nine municipal civic centers from now on.
