The government updates data on handling the virus pandemic Corona in the country. Today, new cases of COVID-19 increased by 9,604, patients recovered from Corona increased by 24,758 people, while Corona patients died increased by 842 people.
Data on handling the Corona pandemic today, Monday (23/8/2021), was published by BNPB Public Relations. This data is updated every day at 12.00 WIB.
The total number of Corona cases found in Indonesia from March to today has reached 3,989,060 cases. For patients recovering from Corona reached 3,571,082 people. Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 patients who died was 127,214.
Then the number of active cases today is 290,764 or a decrease of 15,996 cases compared to yesterday. The government examined 122,737 specimens today. Furthermore, there are 268,947 suspected cases supervised by the government.
The area that reported the first addition of new cases today was West Java with 1,483 cases. Followed by East Java with 1,073 cases and Central Java with 798 cases Corona.
