Add 1,519, Covid-19 Cases Reach 111,455 Cases

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Number of positive confirmed cases Covid-19 in Indonesia is still increasing until Sunday (2/8/2020).

From the data distributed by the Covid-19 Handling Task Force to reporters on Sunday, there were 1,519 new cases in the past 24 hours.

That number increases the number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia to 111,455 cases.

Meanwhile, patients who died increased by 43 people to a total of 5,236 people.

The good news, the number of patients who are get well reached 68,975 people.

Government data noted, there were an additional 1,056 patients who recovered compared to data on Saturday (1/8/2020).

In the same data, the government also recorded there were 62,366 suspects related to Covid-19.

Referring to Minister of Health Decree Number HK.01.07 / Menkes / 413/2020 concerning Guidelines for Prevention and Control of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19), Suspect is a substitute term for patients under surveillance (PDP).

Covid-19 cases in the country are spread across 478 districts / cities in 34 affected provinces.
