Opposed to other members of the France pole of athletics in adapted sport, Gaël (21 years old) thus completed the fifteen laps of the track in 8 minutes, 54 seconds and 76 hundredths. Or about a second better than the old mark. The runner-up finished far behind, in 9’24, and the third in 10’00.
But that’s not all, the Montluçonnais also takes the opportunity to improve the Allier espoir record in FFA (able-bodied and disabled runners combined) that he already had.
