About a week ago, the clause for foreign games for Malmö’s star defender Adam Ollas Mattsson disappeared. He could break until April 1. But no Swiss team pounced.
But now Expressen can reveal that he is leaving Malmö anyway.
For a move to Karlstad and Färjestad.
Ollas Mattsson has for some time expressed a wish to leave Malmö with one year left on his contract, according to what Expressen has learned.

Malmö has agreed to a bid and Färjestad buys Malmö’s star back.
The 27-year-old has been in Malmö for the past five seasons, and is coming off his strongest season in terms of points. There has been interest from Switzerland, but no team snapped up before the clause expired, and Ollas Mattsson is now disappearing to a top club in Sweden, in the form of Färjestad.
FBK buys the back from Malmö for a fixed sum, and Malmö is now looking for a top back for their team, in an otherwise nailed back crew.
Malmö’s sporting director Björn Liljander and Adam Ollas Mattsson have been contacted for comment, without success.
