Former Slovak football representative Adam Nemec changed employers within Romania. From his current place of work, Dinam Bucharest transferred as a free agent to FC Voluntari, which saved himself among the Romanian elite in the last season 2020/2021.
He made his debut in the Voluntari jersey in Saturday’s duel of the 3rd round of the Romanian highest competition against U Craiova 1948 and helped the team to the first points in the new year 2021/2022. The thirty-five-year-old participant in the 2016 European Championships has a relatively varied football CV. In addition to Romania and his homeland, he has previously worked in Germany, Belgium, the USA, the Netherlands and Cyprus.
Especially under the leadership of coach Ján Kozák st. a few years ago, the German was the clear choice number 1 at the tip of the attack in the national team of the Slovak Republic. Although he made his national team debut at the end of 2006, he did not start playing regularly until seven years later and was a key figure in the team during the 2016 European Championships.
He collected 43 starts in the most valuable jersey with a double cross and scored 13 goals in them. He last appeared in the national team on October 13, 2019 on Bratislava’s Tehelná pole in preparation against the Paraguay team (1: 1).
