According to the vice-general of “Wyborcza” Jarosław Kurski and the operational director of “GW” Wojciech Bartkowiak, Agora Holding has not yet included the editor-in-chief of “Gazeta Wyborcza” Adam Michnik among the partners.
Jarosław Kurski and Wojciech Bartkowiak in the summary of the year noted that 2021 was the most difficult, pointing to the conflict with Agora.

Kurski and Bartkowiak recalled that it was the chief operating officer of Gazeta Wyborcza who was nominated in mid-December as a member of Agora’s management board by Agora Holding, which is the main shareholder.
What about the appointment of Michnik to Agora Holding?
Whether Bartkowiak will be included in Agora’s management board will be decided by a vote at the company’s next general meeting.
Currently, Agora Holding has accepted a representative of the editorial board to the management board. This is a good sign – the process of his appointment is ongoing. Unfortunately, she still has not co-opted the Editor-in-Chief, Adam Michnik
– the authors noted.
Agora Holding owns shares accounting for 11.6% of the total. capital and 35.36 percent. votes at the general meeting of Agora. These include series A shares, thanks to which Agora Holding has the exclusive right to put forward candidates for Agora’s management board. Agora’s management board, through co-opting, may appoint two people, but in the current term of office it has already exhausted this limit: in May it appointed Tomasz Grabowski to the management board, and in August Agnieszka Siuzdak-Zyga.
