Adam Hanin .. grandson of the pharaoh artists “Al Bar”

When you see or see one of his works, you will immediately realize that Adam Hanin is a true grandson of Pharaoh and that he is the descendant of the great great men and that he inherited art in his blood, and that it is the greatest evidence that the Egyptians are the ones who built everything that you see around you of beauty and greatness.

Today, Adam Hanin passed away, after he was over ninety years old, leaving behind a great deal of art, which you find in many places, he was born in 1929 he got a BA in the Faculty of Fine Arts in Sculpture Department, and he studied at the Anthony Heller studio in Munich 1957 after he finished his studies Al-Hurra at the School of Fine Arts at the hands of the artist Ahmed Sabry. He also held a period in Nubia during his scholarship (1961-1969).

He has collections in the Museum of the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture, and the Museum of Modern Art in Cairo. The International Sculpture Garden in the American city of Dallas, the Art Village of Harrania, Giza, and the Al-Ahram Foundation building in Cairo, and won the first prize in the artistic production competition 1955.

As usual for adults, Adam Hanin has more than one face. He is a skilled painter who drew on papyrus with natural dyes mixed with Arabic gum or the technique of drawing on traditional plaster. In 1960, he completed drawings to decorate the book of his friend, poet Salah Jaheen (1930-1986) “Rubaiyat Salah Jaheen”, and he used Therefore, Indian ink on paper, and its paintings, whether diagnostic ones or representing abstract geometric shapes, are distinguished by the purity of shapes and the color temperature enhanced by the depth of the sculptural.

Adam Haneen’s body passed away, but he remains in his soul after immortalizing her in art. Hundreds of years will pass and no one will forget him.
