The Blackhawks got Adam back Gaudette of Canucks in an exchange sending Matthew Highmore to Vancouver.
Gaudette, 24, scored seven points (four goals and three assists) in 33 games with the Canucks this year. Selected in the fifth round in 2015 by Vancouver, he scored 52 points (21 goals and 31 assists) in 153 games.
On the other side of the scale, Matthew Highmore heads to British Columbia. This season, he has two assists in 24 games but has only 73 games in three seasons.
