Adam Driver has had a fantastic career. In recent years, the actor has been in one film after another with a big director, whether it’s Ridley Scott’s House of Gucci or Michael Mann’s upcoming Ferrari.
But in an interview for the latter film, Driver revealed that he would like to reprise his role in the Star Warsfilms just can’t shake. And especially one particular moment in The Force Awakens.
The murderer
That film is now eight years old, yet someone reminds Driver of it every month. “It used to be more,” he tells CNN, “but now it’s probably once a month that someone tells me I killed Han Solo.”
By this, Driver is referring to the iconic scene in which his character Kylo Ren, the son of Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Leia Organa, impales his father with a lightsaber. And all this while main character Rey watches helplessly.
A beautiful experience
Nevertheless, Driver still thinks it is a nice experience. About his fellow actor Ford he says that he “so generous and thoughtful” was. “For me, that was a great moment on set, even though it was his death.”
Check out what that death scene ultimately looked like above, and if you want to see for yourself how the rest of the film goes, head over to Disney +. In the meantime, Driver can almost be seen as Enzo Ferrari in the highly anticipated film Ferrari. That will be released at the end of this month.
