Adam Deni Names Nikita Mirzani, Rachel Vennya to skipper 99 in Pleidoi All

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Adam Deni mentioned the names of a number of celebrities while reading his plea during a trial at the North Jakarta District Court, Tuesday (7/6/2022).

Adam Deni is a defendant in a violation of the ITE Law.

The celebrity called Adam Deni is Nikita MirzaniMulan Jameela, Skipper 99 until Rachel Vennya.

Adam Deni briefly explained his track record as a social media activist to the panel of judges.

Adam Deni said that what he had been fighting for so far had succeeded and nothing was worth a hoax.

“As long as I am a social media activist, from 2017, I want to read out my track record, proof that so far there has been no record of spreading hoaxes. It really happened,” said Adam Deni while reading the plea.

Adam Deni claims to have uncovered or went viral in several cases.

“I was able to dismantle the Rachel Vennya case, I followed up on Rachel Vennya’s fake car number plate,” he said.

“Next, there is the case of Mulan Jameela and Ahmad Dhani’s quarantine violations. From there, people know that members of the DPR RI have privilege regarding quarantine after returning from abroad,” he continued.

Regarding Nikita Mirzani, Adam Deni said that Ahmad Sahroni personally asked him to calm Nikita.

“I was once called by Ahmad Sahroni, he admitted that he sent a message by Nikita Mirzani. I accepted the request, I called, I told him not to send messages to the US too blindly,” said Adam Deni.

Meanwhile, regarding Juragan 99, Adam Deni admitted that he had been asked by Sahroni to delete an upload.

Adam Deni’s upload featured questions and data about the origin of the wealth of the entrepreneur named Gilang Widya Pramana.

“I was often told to take down any posts that didn’t suit him (Sahroni). For example, Juragan 99, I was told to take down posts. At that time I discussed where Juragan 99’s assets, aka Gilang, came from,” said Adam Deni.

Adam Deni admitted that he was not afraid of the prosecution’s lawsuit.

Adam Deni believes that what he is doing is for the state, namely monitoring public officials suspected of corruption.

“I just want to expose the crimes committed by officials. When I was charged, I was very surprised. My expectations were that the demands were in line with what I did, but they didn’t,” he said.

It is known, Adam Deni and Ni Made were charged with violating Article 48 Paragraph (3) in conjunction with Article 32 Paragraph (3) Law (UU) No. 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE) as amended and added to Law No. 19 of 2016 Jo Article 55 Paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.

In the indictment, the Public Prosecutor assessed that Adam Deni was proven to have distributed personal documents belonging to the member of Commission III of the DPR from the Nasdem Party faction, Ahmad Sahroni.

The document is related to the purchase of a bicycle worth hundreds of millions belonging to Ahmad Sahroni from a transaction with Ni Made Dwita Anggari.

Sahroni bought the two bicycles in 2020, namely the Firefly brand for Rp. 450 million, and the Bastion brand for Rp. 378 million.
