Adam Deni allegedly threatened Ahmad Sahroni by uploading bicycle purchase documents

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Attorney of the Deputy Chairman of Commission III DPR Ahmad SahroniArman Hanis said that his party suspected that the documents uploaded by Adam Deni is the Sahroni bicycle purchase document.

“Indeed, it is suspected that the uploaded documents are documents for the purchase of our client’s bicycles,” said Arman when contacted by Kompas.com, Monday (7/3/2022).

Arman refused to comment further when asked about indications of blackmail behind the upload.

Because, said Arman, there was no request from Adam Deni to Sahroni regarding the upload.

However, Arman said, the information included by Adam Deni in the upload seemed to threaten Sahroni.

“We don’t know the indications for extortion yet, but caption in his uploads as if allegedly threatening our clients,” said Arman.

Adam Deni is scheduled to undergo the first trial of his case at the North Jakarta District Court, this Monday. However, the judge postponed the trial until next week.

Arman hopes that Adam Deni can be sentenced accordingly in the trial process.

“Our hope is that the process will go like a trial and Adam Deni can be punished according to his deeds,” he said.

Adam himself had conveyed an apology to Sahroni through a video disseminated by his legal representative, Sususandi, on February 22, 2022.

Susandi explained that the video was a manifestation of Adam’s good faith and his ability to end things peacefully.

In the video, Adam admits that he is seriously depressed and has gone all out. He also admitted that he uploaded the personal document because someone else asked him to have the initials OS.

Adam hoped that Sahroni would be beaten, then forgive him and he could work again to provide for the family.

“I am no longer strong enough to face this problem, hopefully Bang Ahmad Sahroni will knock on his heart for me, to forgive and end this problem,” said Adam in his video.
