ADA, the independent label and artist services arm of Warner Music Group, has entered into a distribution agreement with FTS Global Management.
The agreement will allow ADA to cover the global distribution of FTS’s artist network.
ADA notes that the label’s roster includes “heavyweights” in hip-hop, R&B and dancehall, including The Game, Eric Bellinger and Konshens.
Emerging in the early 2000s as a major player in the West Coast hip-hop scene, The Game has scored three No. 1 albums and has over 12 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
Eric Bellinger won a Grammy for Best R&B Album for his work on Chris Brown’s FAME, and has co-written for artists including Usher, Justin Bieber and Wale.
Jamaican dancehall artist Konshens, whose catalog includes Caribbean staple, completes the label’s roster. Bruk Off Your Back with Chris Brown, as well as collaborations with artists like The Chainsmokers, Cardi B, Doja Cat and Pitbull, among others.
For the Stars Entertainment was founded by a former athlete and banker Travis Wilsonwho went from being a financial advisor to a business and artist manager.
FTS says its expansion plans are “heavily focused” on the Africa, Caribbean and Canada regions.
