On Tuesday, June 11, Warner Bros. will launch. Discovery the renewed streaming service HBO Max in the Netherlands. Various subscription types are offered at different prices, including the subscription: ‘basic with advertising’. The advertisements shown in this subscription are provided in the Dutch market by media sales house Ad Alliance. This expands Ad Alliance and Warner Bros. Discovery is expanding the successful collaboration they already have in the field of linear TV and online video in the SAVOD domain (Subscription Advertising Video On Demand).
The partnership concerns the sale of advertising space on the platform in the form of pre-rolls, mid-rolls and the Pauze Ad, successfully rolled out by Team Early of Ad Alliance. With Videoland, Ad Alliance is well-prepared in the SAVOD domain and the addition of HBO Max’s ad tier to the partner network means a strengthening of its position in this domain.
The new HBO Max brings together the current programming of HBO Max, the real-life entertainment of discovery+ and all international sports broadcasts of Eurosport’s premium subscription in one place. The range includes the entire Harry Potter series, The Matrix, The Lord of the Rings, Barbie & Wonka, but also HBO Originals such as The Last of Us, The White Lotus and Euphoria. The second season of House of The Dragon will premiere on June 17. Furthermore, HBO Max this summer will of course revolve around the Olympic Games in Paris, which can be seen by users of all HBO Max subscriptions.
