ACWA Power has announced the installation of a 6.5 MW wind turbine in Uzbekistan.

The company said that this turbine is the largest of its kind in Central Asia.

The company stated that this is the first turbine in the 500-megawatt Bash wind power plant project in Bukhara, Uzbekistan.

ACWA Power’s portfolio of projects in Uzbekistan includes 10 projects with a value of $7.5 billion.
