Touriya Haoud suffers from lymph node cancer. Her spokesperson Mark Teurlings confirms in conversation with Shownews that the actress’s disease has been detected in her neck, chest, and lungs.
Haoud had been struggling with fatigue for some time and therefore visited a doctor. After various investigations, she was told that she has cancer. Haoud is currently undergoing chemotherapy to combat the disease. On Instagram you could see that she was in the hospital Monday before her first treatment. The course lasts eight weeks.
Teurlings says that Haoud assumes that she will be fully recovered. He says that she is hopeful and wants peace in the coming period in order to focus on the recovery.
The 42-year-old Haoud played as an actress in the series, among others Costa! and the movie Shouf Shouf Habibi. As a model she was in magazines like Harper’s Bazaar and Playboy. She was married to Greg Vaughan from 2006 to 2014. The custody case over their three sons is still dragging on.
