Actress Sherine Reda revealed the details of her marriage more than 30 years ago to the artist Amr Diab, and how she helped him choose his clothes.

She said: “Women understand fashion and how their husband can look presentable, while men wear anything, so I helped him.”
Sherine Reda indicated that she used to advise Amr Diab to buy specific pieces of clothing, how to coordinate them, and wear clothes that make him attractive.
She added that it did not take long for their relationship to transform from marriage to friendship after their divorce in 1992, because the separation phase did not witness strong differences.
Sherine Reda denied Amr Diab singing the song “Don’t Be Afraid” to her after their separation, confirming that he sang it during their marriage, and she also shared his appearance in the song’s video.
Sherine Reda pointed out her adherence to her daughter Nour remaining by her side during her childhood, to the point that she did not allow her to stay in her father Amr Diab’s house until she was 5 years old.
She continued that on the first night of her daughter’s absence from home, she was unable to sleep at all, and she discovered that Nour’s nanny could not sleep like her, and it was a difficult experience.
The television interview ended after the presenter gave a card with a question to her guest, so Sherine Reda decided to withdraw and leave the studio in excitement.
It is noteworthy that Sherine Reda was married to Amr Diab for 3 years during the period from 1989 to 1992, and their marriage resulted in their daughter, Nour.
