Actress Shares Inspiring Message of Unity and Compassion amid Global Uncertainty

Asked about what we as a country should move towards, the actress says: “We don’t know what the elections will be like in America (in the United States of America – aut.), what impact it will have on such small countries, on small nations, because today we are dependent of those big events – endlessly. I like how our president, how he says, that we should not panic, but be aware, ready (for – aut.) all the possibilities that can threaten us by chance.”

She continues: “My parents also went through two wars, I also went through wartime, being a refugee, when my whole life was burnt and so on, but I am happy for my generation that we have lived in such different times, and I could wish the audience with such tolerance more, with such compassion, because a person actually starts from compassion.” As an example, Dreģe mentions donors, how many people donate to different causes.

“It means that there is this good foundation in us – he just wandered somewhere, got lost and sowed, but our nation has this ethical value, which is in folk songs, which is in our traditions, which is the foundation of the foundations,” the actress believes, ” everyone needs to come together. That’s why I’m very grateful for the gathering of athletes at the Freedom Monument, for the Song Festival march, which gave so much inspiration.”
