“Actress Sára Korbelová Reveals Intimate Secrets of Filming Sex O’Clock Series and Overcoming Anxiety”

The audience knows the actress Sára Korbelová (21) mainly from the endless Street, but this year she also shone in the series Sex O’Clock. On Tuesday’s TALK! confided to the presenter Rebecca Diatilová what it was like to have an intimate coach at hand during filming. She also revealed how she dealt with psychological problems.

The Sex O’Clock series is full of titillating themes. “Before filming, we had an intimacy workshop where we had a coach and we discovered where our acting boundaries are. We learned how to shoot these scenes to make it pleasant, even if they are not entirely pleasant situations,” outlined Korbelová.

With an intimate coach, touching, consent, how far one can go, what is pleasant and what is not, are dealt with. “The actors look like they’re naked, but they have to have physical barriers between them. Sometimes the shots are choreographed, how to shoot ourselves, how to bend so that it looks good on camera,” she explained, adding that it’s in the ticklish often demanding positions.

​The actress has already spoken openly about her problems with anxiety in the past. “I hope that I’m out of the worst. My character Kristýna in Ulica is going through what I went through, and I think it’s important to talk about it. It might give someone courage and reassure them that they’re not alone ” Korbelová described.

According to her, anxiety is a solvable thing, and even if it takes time, it can be overcome. “I had to be the biggest support to myself. Then my psychologist, to whom I went for therapy, also helped me. It’s important to have an environment that helps you. But it’s something you have to realize yourself and work on it yourself, ” she concluded.
