The 54-year-old actress Salma Hayek talks about the corona drama of American Variety in connection with the promotion of his new film «Eternals».
– My doctor begged me to go to the hospital since I was so ill. I said no thanks. I would rather die at home, she tells the magazine.
Hayek says she was isolated in a separate room in her house in London for seven weeks. At one point, she also had to have oxygen therapy. She shares the home with her husband François-Henri Pinault and their 13-year-old daughter.
Hayek says she spent much of last year recovering and still has not regained the energy she had before corona disease. Nevertheless, she has recently started working on films again. Since April, she has been working on a role in Ridley Scott’s “House of Gucci”.
