Actress reveals secrets to living a joyful and fulfilling life in new interview with Inese Vaikule

Asked about whether it would be possible to give a kind of road map to everyone, how not to lose the joy of life and live a bright, rich and joyful life, Dreģe tells the presenter Inese Vaikule: “It is such a profession. It’s like on the one hand it’s cruel, because a person flows into it and disappears and has no personal life, but what you can give to others is a blessing – it’s very, very blessed.”

On the other hand, when asked what the actress does when she wakes up in the morning to always be alert, Dreģe again refers to her profession, but she also has other techniques. “Without a doubt I have my exercises that I still do and my workouts,

and I walked a lot.

I have to understand that life can end at any moment… we are already the passing present, as critics say,” says Dreģe, “Every life can end at any moment.”

She mentions that the actress really liked and was surprised by the movie “Postcard from Rome” with Jānis Jarānas and Indra Burkovskis in the lead roles. “I understand that you could still make a play about two old people, but a film about two…” says Dreģe, who was especially surprised by his colleague Jarāns, “I was excited, and it also gave me the courage to be, to be in the creative ranks.”
