Actress Rania Youssef Opens Up About Religion and Personal Struggles

Actress Rania Youssef spoke about her relationship with the Christian religion and the story of her dispute with her ex-husband, Mohamed Mukhtar.
Rania said, during her interview on the “Book of Fame” program, presented by journalist Ali Yassin on Al-Jadeed channel, “I refused to let my daughters study in girls’ schools. The problem is that we go out into society and do not know how to deal with men.”
She added: “I used to be embarrassed to say no because I was only in a girls’ school. All the time, my shyness was very great because of the nuns’ upbringing.”
Regarding her closeness to the Christian religion, she said: “I used to pray in the church, the mosque prayer, and for a while I read a large part of the Bible, and during my studies I studied the Islamic religion.”

Rania continued: “My daughters’ father would not spend on them until after 3 years in the courts, 10 thousand pounds, to raise two daughters. When he stands before God, they continue to speak before God.”

She continued: “My daughters went to university in Barcelona for two years, but last year I faltered financially and I brought them back.”

It is noteworthy that Rania Youssef’s latest work is the series “Another World”, written by Islam Youssef, directed by Abdulaziz Hashad, starring Nidal Al-Shafi’i, Faryal Youssef, Firas Saeed, and Samira Sedqi.
