The renowned actress Nileny Dippton, thanked her for her Soberano Award nomination for her valued performance in “Cecilia B”, a theatrical proposal presented by the National Theater Company authored by Giovanny Cruz and directed by Fausto Rojas.
“I feel very grateful to the Association of Art Chroniclers (ACROARTE) for this nomination for our most important award, which I understand is a boost not only to my career as an actress, but also to classical theater in our country,” said Dippton.
Similarly, the versatile artist thanked the Dominican National Brewery (CND), “for the effort it has been making, year after year, to ensure that art and entertainment always shine in our land.”
Likewise, the successful modeling agent dedicated her recognition “to the entire team of the National Theater Company, whose hard work has allowed us to reach the heart of the town; in a special way to the immense Giovanny Cruz and Fausto Rojas, who have made a great duo in this wonderful staging. I also thank the public that packed the room La Dramática throughout the season. This support feeds us and invites us to move forward.
During more than two decades as an actress, Nileny Dippton has interpreted numerous and complex characters, always achieving highly positive reviews from the specialized press.
“I have left my skin in works such as “Joan of Arc”, “Joan the Mad”, “The most beautiful lawyer in the world”, “Forbidden to commit suicide in Spring”, “Yago” and the “Night of the murderers”, he explained.
Likewise, Dippton has participated in the works, “The fall of Icarus”, “The song of the pumpkins”, “America get up”, “The successor”, “Barrio 7 graves”, “Tales of Decameron”, “The woman” , “Locos y dueendes de las dunas”, in addition to numerous musicals and performances for television and cinema.
“With all these works and artistic expressions, we have always opted for excellence with respect to acting work, for this reason, each theatrical proposal is for me like doing a master’s degree with respect to the author and the investigation of the work,” said the beautiful actress.
In the same way, the enterprising artist commented that in each work that she participates in, she always strives to prepare everything that has to do with the construction of the character, leaving nothing to chance.
“Aspects such as the voice, costumes, gestures, background, tempo, truth”, the body, and the imagination, among others, are vital to making a character credible,” Dippton concluded.
