Actress Marcela Posada Opens Up About Her Complicated Journey to Happiness

The famous Colombian actress and model, Marcela Posada, recognized for having played the role of Sandra Patiño in the television series on the RCN channel, ‘Yo soy Betty, la fea’, by Fernando Gaitán; and in the soap opera Enfermeras on the same channel, playing Ruby Palacino, she revealed one of the most complex moments she has experienced.

Posada entered the world of modeling when she was a teenager, which allowed her to take part in important competitions such as the ‘Miss Piel Canela Internacional’ pageant, which takes place in Mexico.

However, the death of her mother – who represented a fundamental pillar in her life – led her to step away from modeling for a moment, to enter the world of acting at the Rubén Di Pietro academy.

The 52-year-old woman from Manizale said that she canceled the wedding she was planning with her ex-fiancé, when she realized that he was cheating on her with another man. This event, without a doubt, marked a before and after in the life of the actress, as she indicated in interviews.

However, in a recent interview with the showbiz and entertainment program: ‘Lo Sé Todo’, she stated that this shocking event greatly affected her emotional health, after she realized that her fiancé had relationships with men.

“I was going to marry that person, thank God, I realized the things that happened and I didn’t get married,” said the Colombian actress. Adding that she, her intuition and the discovery of sexual orientation by her ex-partner, freed them both from an unfruitful marriage, which would not be marked by happiness.

In the interview he indicated: “This person traveled a lot, but later I realized that in each city he had a girlfriend.”

It is important to mention that over time, after having established her relationship with this person, she noticed certain behaviors that were very similar to the feminine attitude.

In fact, the actress claimed that in an invitation to a costume party, her ex-fiancé dressed as a woman; which sparked suspicions about her sexual orientation.

Another fact that further increased the doubts she had was that Marcela found out that on her ex-partner’s social networks, there were photos uploaded where he appeared with other friends and people from the LGBTQ+ community. However, this was not what raised suspicions about her, but the fact that she had her blocked on her social networks.

“It’s complicated, because sometimes there are people who are gay, but they are looking for a partner, a woman to cover up and not show their sexuality.” She stated, upon finding out everything.

Despite all of the above, Marcela Posada decided to convey a message to all those women who, at an advanced age, are still single, confirming that despite the difficulties in their love life, they can find happiness in being single, just as the actress has done.
