Actress Mai Kassab commented on the recent attack on the series “Al-Ataula,” where some claimed that the work incites violence. She said: “The series talks about good and evil, and through it we present two bad examples.”
She added in a press interview, “Through the series, we tell people that the end will definitely be bad, and we do not encourage them to be like these models. In the end, we will see who will be victorious.”
Regarding her distance from her children due to filming the rest of her scenes in the series “Al-Atawla” in Beirut, Kassab said: “Every day I cry with my children on the phone, crying collectively.”
She also revealed her struggle with losing weight during the Atawla series, saying: “I hope to gain 10 kilos.” She said sarcastically: “There is no obesity in my country in Beirut, no ragag or couscous, and my advice to anyone in Egypt who enjoys a muammar rice casserole, and I enjoy being thin because I was I suffer from obesity, and I will gain five kilos for the public because they are afraid for me, and next Ramadan I will be single.”
