The US authorities say that the prominent actress Lisa Bains has died in a collision with a motorized scooter in New York. The 65-year-old actress was best known for her roles in the films “Gone Girl” and “Cocktail”.
The accident occurred on June 4 in New York, when Baines went to see his wife Catherine. He was hit by a red scooter on the pedestrian crossing. The driver of the scooter has fled the scene of the accident, the police have not been able to find him yet.
Baines was taken to hospital with a severe head injury, but doctors failed to save her life, reports to the BBC.
Bains was a popular theater, TV and film actress. She is best known to the general public for her roles in films “Cocktail” (1988), where she played with Tom Cruise, and “Gone Girl”, where she played the mother of the main character Emijah (Rosamund Paika).
