Actress Kristina Lilley, known for playing Gabriela de Elizondo in the telenovela Passion of Hawksassured in his social networks that He managed to beat cancer for the third time.
Specifically, the interpreter shared a photograph on May 19 in which she assured that “Today was my last chemotherapy. Today was a day of tears and laughtera day to end a cycle and start a new one in my life”.
He also stated that it would be “a family day. A few weeks off… and then with new energy I’ll start whatever comes. Today is important, today is a day, tomorrow everything will be new”.
Lilley, 59, also shared a video days later in which is seen ringing the popular bell in the oncology sectortradition that patients carry out when it is confirmed that they are free of cancer.
“I understood what it means to ring the bell. You close a cycle and celebrate. The bell calls good things for your life”, he wrote next to the video.
The interpreter of Gabriela Elizondo beat cancer for the third time after suffering it in 2010. So, she was diagnosed with breast cancer and soon after with cervical cancer.
In January of this year, already 13 years after that event, the actress commented that she would again have to face breast cancer.
“One of the reasons I cut my hair is because today I am in my first chemotherapy session. I am anxious and a little scared, but I know that it will pass and how things are going to turn out”, he assured then.
