Actress Jaroslava Vysloužilová-Wanieková died on Tuesday. She lived to be 85 years old. The Šumperk Theater informed about her death and also published information about the last farewell, which will take place on November 30 in the ceremonial hall of the Šumperk crematorium.

Vysloužilová-Wanieková worked in the Šumperk theater for over forty years. She became a member in 1967. Before that, she spent two years in Beskydy Theater in Nový Jičín and five years in Slovácko Theater in Uherské Hradiště.
Maryša was her first role on the Šumperk stage, and her last role in 2010 was Drana in the tragicomedy César a Drana. In 2011, she received the Olomouc Region Award for this role.
In addition to the theater, Vysloužilová-Wanieková has also starred in a number of films. In the 1960s, she appeared in Karel Kachyna’s films, such as The Night of the Bride and The Ridiculous Lord. She also starred in the film All Good Natives, where she played the character of Fanka. In the 1970s and 1980s, she had rather minor roles in films. In the 1990s, she still appeared in Marian and Postel.
Jaroslava Vysloužilová-Wanieková was born on April 12, 1936 in Prostějov. She graduated from pedagogical high school in her hometown. After graduation, she was accepted to JAMU in Brno, where she studied acting. Her husband was Stanislav Waniek, who, like her, was a longtime member of the Šumperk Theater.
