At the age of 77, the popular actress, drummer and pedagogue Jana Altmannová died. The sad news was confirmed to the TN.cz editorial staff by Zuzana Mattlachová on behalf of the family. Fans remember the actress from a number of films and fairy tales, she also shone in the TV series Nova Ulice or in the film Babovřesky.
Jana Altmannová appeared mainly in smaller roles in a number of films and fairy tales. Her hairstyle was typical of the actress, when her hair was always combed high, often in a bun.
The actress was born on October 17, 1944 in Prague. In 1968 she graduated from DAMU, specifically at the Department of Puppet Theater. For five years she worked in Essen, West Germany, where she was engaged in the Hohensteiner Puppenspieler Theater and also taught at a higher social pedagogical school.
After returning to Prague, she was a member of the Spejbl and Hurvínek Theater and then also of the Central Puppet Theater. From 1982 she taught at DAMU and did dubbing.
She has appeared in a number of films since the 1970s. Fans can remember it, for example, from the film Vrchní, prchni (1980), Next time we will be smarter, old man! (1982) and also appeared in the films Babovřesky (2013) and Kameňák (2003) by director Zdeněk Troška.
In addition to a large number of fairy tales, viewers can also remember the actress as the mother of hairdresser Simona from the TV series Nova Ulice.
