As of January 1, the actress no longer works at the Latvian National Theater Inga Misane-Grasberga, writes the magazine “Kas Jauns” this week. The actress wrote her resignation letter and said goodbye to her colleagues with a note in which she thanked them for the time spent together.

Misāne-Grasberga has worked at the National Theater for 18 years, performing around 40 roles. At the end of last year, the actress wrote her resignation, and the theater accepted it – there were no disagreements or disagreements, Lolita Grāvīte, the public relations representative of the theater, assures the magazine: “As she said herself, the decision was made as a result of long-term deliberations,” says Grāvīte.
The publication found out that such a drastic step was difficult for her, but her voice is not sad. “It had been smoldering, forming and tumbling inside me for a very, very long time. It was not easy. It was very difficult to do,” explains Misane and adds that she does not plan to go to the theater as an ordinary audience in the near future.
She has already started to move away from the life cycle of the theater, however, the actress’s husband Gundars Grasbergs remains to work in the staff of the National Theatre.
The 43-year-old actress shares her thoughts on the fact that the profession of an actor is very complicated, demanding and full of effort, so now she is happy to enjoy her free time with her children.
At the same time, she adds that she is not leaving the profession of an actress, so she is open to other offers.
Misāne-Grasberg’s photos and name have already been removed from the theater’s website.
