Hilary Swank is currently working on a new film, for which she was a guest in early June in the city of Albany, New York. On the same day an accident happened just a few streets away. Dog Blue simply ran away from his owner Chelsea and disappeared into the streets of the big city.
Chelsea lives in Albany with her dachshund, Blue, and regularly takes him for walks around town. A few days ago, the 15-year-old dog simply escaped her. Despite his old age, he somehow managed to escape from his owner. She was immediately very worried and immediately set off to look for her furry friend, reports the local newspaper “Times Union“.

Chelsea drove down the streets and asked passers-by if they had seen the brown dachshund mix. Unfortunately, there was no sign of Senior Blue. When the keeper finally approached the Albany bus station, she suddenly got stuck. There were cameras everywhere and the square was cordoned off by a number of police cars. At first, Chelsea suspected an accident. When she got out, however, she quickly realized that the commotion was about filming for a film.

Hilary Swank rescues lost dog
She approached a member of the film crew and asked if anyone had seen a dog running free. To her surprise, the employee actually had good news for her and said that someone from the team had found the stray furry friend. The finder would be a celebrity, he warned the owner and then made sure that the puppy Blue was brought to her.
A few minutes later, a car pulled up in front of Chelsea, from which actress Hilary Swank got out. On her arm she held the missing Blue. Swank noticed the four-legged friend immediately and despite the filming, she took loving care of him. The actress has a big heart for dogs and is co-founder of an organization that puts children in need in touch with furry friends from animal shelters in order to treat psychological problems. The rescue of dog Blue was therefore an absolute matter of course for Swank.
