Gemma Arterton gave birth to a baby boy in December. The British actress announced this on Wednesday in the Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2.
Arterton announced in November that she was pregnant. It is the first child of Arterton and her husband Rory Keenan.
“We are very, very happy. He was born just before Christmas,” the 37-year-old said of her “little Christmas elf”.
The actress is best known for her role in the James Bond film Quantum of Solace from 2008. Later she played in, among others Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Murder Mystery in The King’s Man.
