Actress Eleonora Ivanova-Nori wins big at “Flight in Art” awards in Bulgaria

At a glamorous ceremony on the occasion of the Stoyan Kambarev Foundation’s “Flight in Art” awards, ex-president Rosen Plevneliev and his wife Desi Banova presented this year’s prize to the big winner – actress Eleonora Ivanova-Nori.

“Thanks for the chance, I plan to grab it,” the actress said succinctly.

Part of Banova’s speech was that, in fact, at one of the “Flight in Art” award ceremonies, she and her husband met and a little later started a family.

“For you, dear young talents, I thank you for having you, because you bring back the faith and hope that the future of this nation will be very beautiful. I thank Desi Tenekejieva from the bottom of my heart, that really our fairy tale began here 6 years ago. This ceremony apart from giving wings to young people, it turned my life around,” said TV presenter Desi Banova

“We are all united as one in our conviction that human life has a deeper meaning. And it is measured only by what you give, not how much and what you take. How much meaning there is in what you do , Desi (b.r. Tenekejieva, chairman of the foundation). Because you and the Stoyan Kambarev Foundation really give a lot. You also gave us wings of love. Yes, we met on that stage. We made ourselves a little angel, run on him all day, he’s so wild that we rejuvenate with him. Our dreams have come true and continue to come true,” added Plevneliev.

At the end of his speech, he urged that we never allow a crisis of spirituality.

Five were nominated for the award. Ivanova was selected in the “Acting Mastery” category, the first Bulgarian bandoneonist Stoyan Karaivanov in the “Music” category, and Dumisani Karamanski was the winner in the field of visual art. Poet Lilia Yovnova is the winner in the “Poetry” category, and actor and influencer Petar Baikov was nominated for “Dubbing”.

Eleonora Ivanova-Nori, who is known to viewers from the small screen in the series “Brothers”, as well as from Marian Valev’s film “Chalga”, won the award. At the moment, the actress is part of the acting troupe of the “Sofia” theater.

The event was attended by the actress and producer Desi Tenekejieva, who is also the chairman of the foundation, Yordanka Fandakova, Iva Ekimova, Koyna Ruseva, the voice of Bulgaria Jacqueline Tarakchi, Elitsa Todorova, who performed her hit song “Water”, the vocalist of the group “Blue” Lee Ryan and more, and the host of the 14th consecutive ceremony for the awarding of the “Flight in Art” awards to Stoyan Kambarev was once again Niki Kanchev.

Former president Petar Stoyanov, who is part of the foundation’s team, was not part of the ceremony, but congratulated the participants in a video address.

“I am proud to be one of the founders of this foundation, because it has become one of the significant cultural institutions not only in Bulgaria, but also outside the country. Therefore, because the foundation does not just help, it changes the destinies of young people”.

The Mayor of Sofia, Yordanka Fandakova, presented the plaque to Eleonora Ivanova, who later won the grand prize presented to her by Rosen Plevneliev and Desi Banova. The poetess Liliya Yovnova received her award from Iva Ekimova, Koyna Ruseva awarded the artist Dumisani Karamanski, the actress, known for her voice, Gergana Stoyanova presented the award to Petar Baikov, and the conductor Yordan Kamdjalov awarded the musician Stoyan Karaivanov.

“I am extremely excited every time I stand before you, because these are not ordinary awards. These are awards for spirit, for flight, bearing the name of an extraordinary person and an extraordinary personality – Stoyan Kambarev. And he somehow continues to live through each one of you for 14 years already. I would be very happy if you could communicate with him. But he is here among us, I am absolutely convinced,” Tenekejieva said with tears in her eyes.

Another important prize was awarded tonight. The award for cinema 355, for which three young filmmakers competed – Martina Troanska, Rumen Rusev and Victoria Pavlova. The audience chose the honor to go to Martina Troanska with her project “Grown Up”, with each of the contenders’ films being screened during the ceremony. They last exactly 5 minutes, and one of the conditions was to be filmed within 5 days.

The ceremony was held at “Joy Station”, and in addition to these, several other awards were given to young talents.
