Actress Denise De Weerdt has passed away

In her early years De Weerdt did both musicals and theater. She played Anne Frank in the play of the same name, and she took the lead role in the Flemish version of the musical “My fair lady”. That was perhaps her best-known role.

Later she switched to the BRT, where she played in well-known series such as “Axel Nort”, “The cat” or “Birds of paradise”. Younger viewers may know her from a guest role in “FC De Kampioenen”, as the mother of Boma.
