Applegate broke through to the public in the late 1980s as teenage daughter Kelly Bundy in the much-watched sitcom “Married with Children”. She also made a notable guest star in “Friends,” as sister to Jennifer “Rachel” Aniston, which actually earned Applegate an Emmy. Not much later, she had the lead role in her own sitcom “Samantha Who?” to grab. In 2019 and 2020, Applegate was featured in the comedy series “Dead to me”.
The actress started her career young, because she could already be seen as a baby in the popular soap “Days of our lives”. She also won awards for her role in the Broadway musical “Sweet Charity”, and did a lot of voice work over the years. Applegate has been married for years and has a daughter.
MS or in full Multiple Sclerosis is an incurable and chronic disease of the central nervous system, in which inflammation leads to damage to the nerves. The course of the disease is extremely unpredictable, although patients sooner or later end up in a wheelchair. Earlier, Applegate also had to deal with breast cancer: a disease that she overcame, although she had both her breasts amputated as a preventive measure.
