The actress Carolina Duarte, recognized for her role as Tomasa in the soap opera ‘Leandro Díaz’, announced that it will settle in a city other than Valledupar due to the lack of opportunities of employment and the precarious support for the development of culture in this city.
In a thread posted on his Twitter accountthe artist mentioned that she has been living in the capital of Cesar for two years, during which time she did not obtain economic benefits coming from the city.

“I have been living in Valledupar for two and a half years and in June I moved to another city, because in that time I did not earn a single peso from my city, I always hired outside, I knocked on doors with cultural projects that improved socially and nobody listened to me,” Duarte initially wrote.
He added that Valledupar is a city that in recent years has grown in terms of tourism and culture, but “it has not had leaders who take a deep look at these two fundamental pillars for its development, grows in infrastructure and stagnates in the rest”.

“There are not enough guarantees in commerce, the public sector is permeated by the nepotism of the clan on duty, there are no public policies that mark a concrete path towards job creation, Valledupar is a wasted city,” he concluded.
