After a long break, actress Bhavana returns to Malayalam. After five years, Bhavana acted in the Malayalam film ‘Ntikakkakuru Premandarnn’. After ‘Honey B’, Bhavana and Lal Jr’s latest film ‘Nadikar’ is gearing up for release. Bhavana made some interesting revelations at the Tovino Thomas starrer’s promotional event.
Bhavana was answering the anchor when she was asked to tell the gossips that were ahead of her. Bhavana said she heard gossip till she died. “I have heard that I have died, I have heard many things that are not worth telling. I went to America and had an abortion, had an abortion in Kochi, had an abortion and died, and so on.
After a year or two of acting, when you hear all this, you realize what it is. Abortion done in America, abortion done in Aluva, done in Chennai… it’s a cat. I’m tired of hearing abortion gossip. If someone hears this and asks if it is an abortion, but do it, you will think.
They will also tell you without asking about it. Because after a certain point, it looks like I might need an abortion. Tired of hearing that. At some point, Anup Ettan and I got married. Nadikar, with Bhavana as the heroine, also features Soubin Shahir in an important role along with Tovino. This is Saub’s first film with Tovino. Dhyan Srinivasan, Shine Tom Chako, Lal, Balu Varghese, Anoop Menon etc are lined up in the film. The film hits theaters on May 3.
Filmmakers Maitri, Naveen Yarneni, Y. Ravi Shankar and Alan Antony are producing the film along with Anoop Venugopal. Suvin Somasekar has written the screenplay for the film. After Prithviraj and Suraj Venjarammudu’s excellent Driving License, Naadikar is directed by Lal Jr.
Chandu Salimkumar, Indrans, Madhupal, Suresh Krishna, director Ranjith, Ganapathy, Vijay Babu, Altaf Salim, Manikuttan, Major Ravi, Moore, Sumit, Nishant Sagar, Abhiram Phuduwal, Srikanth Murali, Arjun Nandakumar and Divya Pillai are the other actors in the movie. The film is edited by Ratheesh Raj, with Albi handling the camera.
