This weekend Begoña Basauri took advantage of a few free moments in her routine to carry out a dynamic with her followers of Instagram. The actress clarified the doubts of her followers regarding in vitro fertilization by telling her experience.
As she commented, the idea of carrying out this process arose after ending a complex relationship, and it was not very clear if she would want to have children in the future.
“Ten years ago I was coming out of a very traumatic relationship that left me with the feeling that things were difficult and I said: ‘I don’t see myself making a family with anyone, but I’m not sure I don’t want children.’ There I began to investigate the preservation of eggs, it is easy to freeze your ovarian reserve to use it in the future ”, she began explaining.
After learning about this procedure, she went to a reproductive medicine clinic in Viña del Mar where she was advised by a specialist.
“It seemed to me that everything was very safe and once landed, I could do it. At the same time, I began to record a soap opera and since 10 years ago this was not discussed openly, I did not know who to ask if they had done it, if they felt that the process was to do it during a soap opera, if I was going to go crazy with hormones ” he added.
Begoña Basauri addressed this topic with the purpose of clarifying the doubts of those people who are thinking of undergoing in vitro fertilization, since when she needed the experience of someone who had gone through this process, nobody advised her.
“Although everything was explained to me very clearly at the clinic, I wanted to talk to another woman who had gone through it and that is one of the reasons why I want to tell you, in case any of you need to hear from another woman who has gone through this process. No one shared her experience with me, life took me and 10 years later I came back to the Viña del Mar Women’s Clinic to sit in front of the same doctor, ”added the actress.
